Dazu zählen die Portale von K&B Services Ltd. und von Global Merchant Center Hong Kong Ltd. aber nicht dazu. Hier wird mit raffinierten Tricks gearbeitet, um den Seitenbesucher zu täuschen. Das beginnt schon bei dem Betreiber selbst. Die K&B und GMC sind ein Anbieter, agieren aber unter beiden Namen. Demnach kann es gut sein, dass man eine Plattform von K&B besucht, mit dem Angebot dort nicht zufrieden ist und eine andere Seite sucht. Mit viel Pech landet man dann auf einer Seite von GMC. Dann landet das abgezockte Geld letztendlich doch auf dem gleichen Konto.
Es geht aber noch weiter mit der Irreführung. In den AGB der Dating Seite CasualLove.net wird erwähnt, dass man den Betreiber der Plattform dem Impressum entnehmen soll. Der Name des Betreibers wird nämlich nicht in den allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen erwähnt. Dort werden ausschließlich Synonyme wie „wir“, „Firma“ oder „Seitenbetreiber“ verwendet, um die Aktionen des Betreibers zu beschreiben. Das ist im Prinzip nichts Ungewöhnliches, allerdings steht im Impressum dann, dass die GMC nicht der Betreiber, sondern nur der Software- und Zahlungsdienstleister ist. Dasselbe ist auf den Seiten, auf welchen die K&B als Software- und Zahlungsdienstleister angegeben ist. In beiden Fällen handelt es sich aber um den Seitenbetreiber.
Die GMC und die K&B sind ein und dasselbe Unternehmen. Beide haben eine identische Anschrift im Impressum angegeben, Hong Kong. Selbstverständlich gibt es einige Gründe, den Firmensitz in Hong Kong anzusiedeln. Allerdings ist das bei Dating Seiten nicht von Vorteil für den Kunden. Der Standort ein erstes klares Anzeichen, dass der Betreiber nicht seriös ist. Vor allem bei Online Dating Seiten sollte man als Kunde vorab prüfen, wo der Betreiber seinen Standort hat.
Besucht man eine Dating Seite von GMC oder K&B vermutet man zunächst nichts Böses. Die Suche nach dem Betreiber und dessen Standort sind erste Hinweise, dass die Portale eine schlechte Wahl sind. Betrachtet man nur das beworbene Angebot auf der Startseite, wird man schnell zur Anmeldung verleitet. Auf der Seite Single-Hotpot.net beispielsweise ist einiges geboten. Die Registrierung ist kostenlos, man kann die Seite kostenlos testen, das Portal lässt sich einfach bedienen und es werden Dates aus der Region versprochen.
Kurz gesagt, es gibt auf den ersten Blick keinen Grund, sich nicht auf der Seite anzumelden. Zumindest nicht, wenn man sich nicht die AGB gründlich durchgelesen hat. In den AGB wird erwähnt, dass der Betreiber sogenannte Agenten einsetzt. Agenten sind die Moderatoren dieser Firma und übernehmen die Unterhaltung mit dem Kunden. Allerdings geschieht das, ohne, dass der User davon weiß.
Auf den Seiten werben die GMC und K&B mit ansprechenden Profilbildern und garantieren, dass die Mitglieder geprüft werden. In der Tat muss man als neuer User sein frisch angelegtes Profil verifizieren. Das ändert aber nichts an der Tatsache, dass der Mitgliederbereich voller Fake Profile ist, welche von den Agenten betrieben werden. Sie nehmen unmittelbar nach der Anmeldung Kontakt zu einem neuen Mitglied auf und animieren zu einer Unterhaltung.
Der Betreiber wirbt damit, dass man seine Seiten kostenlos testen kann. Das heißt aber auch, dass man danach zur Kasse gebeten wird. Wie hoch die Kosten sind, ist nicht vorab zu erfahren. Das steht nicht in den AGB, sondern man muss sich anmelden. Die Kosten entstehen durch Coins, welche man für das Senden von Nachrichten braucht. Nach der Registrierung erhält man die Möglichkeit, fünf Nachrichten kostenlos zu versenden. Das ist das Probe-Angebot der GMC und K&B. Letztendlich handelt es sich bei der kostenlosen Probe wieder nur um eine irreführende Information, um in die Abzocke zu locken.
Möchte man weiterhin aktiv sein, muss man neue Coins kaufen, welche in verschiedenen Paketen zum Kauf angeboten werden. Je nachdem, welches Paket man wählt, zahlt man knapp zwei Euro für das Versenden von einer Nachricht. Erreichen wird man mit dieser Nachricht nur das Fake Profil von einem Agenten, der sich als fiktive Person ausgibt. Treffen kann man diese Person auf jeden Fall nicht, auch wenn genau das auf den Seiten des Betreibers versprochen wird.

The K&B Services Ltd. (K&B) and the Global Merchant Center Hong Kong Ltd. (GMC) are the operators of a network of online dating websites. They advertise with a great offer and interesting members, but it turns out that all their portals are a rip-off with a fake chat.
The operator knows how to irritate and to trick its members. It all starts with the name of the operator itself. In this report we will review some of the dating websites of the K&B Services Ltd. and the Global Merchant Center Hong Kong Ltd. It turns out that both company names belong to one enterprise.
It took us a little while before we found out that the two operators are the same company. As usual, we always check the terms and conditions first. There, we found that the name of the operator is not mentioned in the terms, but only in the imprint. The name of the operator is not mentioned by name in the terms and conditions, but only as synonyms such as “we”, “company” or “operator”. We checked the imprint and found on some sites, the name Global Merchant Center Hong Kong Ltd., and on some others, the name K&B Services Ltd. Of course, there are plenty of reasons to locate the headquarters in Hong Kong for legal or tax reasons. However, the location of Hong Kong is surely a disadvantage for the customer of a dating site.
There are some dating websites on the internet which can be easily spotted as a scam. But that is surely not the case on the platforms of K&B and GMC. The operator uses misleading information on the landing page to trick visitors and entice them into a quick registration. Regarding the offer itself, it could seem to be an offer of one of the absolute best dating websites, if the information is not wrong and misleading. The design and handling of the sites are great, the registration is for free and you can even use the website for free for a certain time. On the landing page there are some good-looking profile pictures and the operator ensures that all members are verified.
As mentioned, the offer really sounds great but it is all part of the scam. We always recommend that visitors take a good look into the terms and conditions in any case. In the terms and conditions we found the note about the fake chat scam. The terms and conditions explain the use of so-called agents. Those agents operate fake profiles and entice the user to a conversation. That starts right after the registration. We assume that all profiles on the dating platforms of this operator are a fake.
The fake profiles show fictional people but are not marked as such. An Agent will not identify as a fictional person either. In a nutshell, it begins with the operator advertising with misleading information to entice the user to register. Later, agents will use their fake profiles to entice the user to spend money.
The registration is for free and a new member can try the portal for free but after that costs will appear. It is necessary to complete the registration to find out more about the rates. That information is not mentioned in the terms and conditions or on the landing page. The terms and conditions only inform you about two things regarding the payment. The first is, that costs will appear for coins which are needed to send messages. The second is that after the registration is done you can send five messages for free, which is advertised as the great free trial. This is a good example of how the operator advertises with very misleading details.
The agents will get in touch with new members after a little while and entice them into a conversation. After the five free messages are used up, new coins are needed, if you want to stay in touch with the fake operators. The coins are available in different packages. Depending on which offer you choose, the costs for one message are nearly 2€, which is more than $2. That is the price you will pay here for a senseless chat with an agent who operates a fake profile.
